Little Peanuts/Assistant Director: Mrs. Tayo Ojetola

Greetings my name is Omotayo Ojetola, but my students call me Mrs. Tayo. I am British and my parents are of Nigerian Origin. I moved to Nashville from London seven years ago after getting married to my phenomenal husband, Deji Ojetola. We have three wonderful children that have truly been a blessing within our marriage. Immanuel is 6 and the twins, Jedidiah and Jemimah, are 4.

I received my M.A in Education while I was in the United Kingdom and recently received my Masters in Education Technology from Tennessee State University. I thoroughly enjoy curriculum design and modifying the curriculum to accommodate the child’s needs. I believe that education is the best legacy to give a child, thus impacting a child during their early years of education, will build a better tomorrow. Education allows the child to dream, believe and achieve anything in life that they pursue with their heart and great determination.

I make sure that the classroom is well equipped with all the necessary educational materials so that every child that enters the doors of my classroom can reach their developmental milestones. As an educator, I work diligently to help the children learn at an early age that print is related to reading and developing an understanding of phonological awareness.

When it comes to the relationships I have with my parents, I want to ensure them that we are consistent in the care of their child. While making sure that we work together to help the child reach their developmental goals and establish great form of communication about the child’s day and/or any changes in behavior.

I love reading, cooking and traveling with my family. If I could describe myself in five words, they would be cheerful, caring, goal oriented, focused, and determined. I look forward to growing with you and your family. Welcome to Educare!
